Research on Application of Computer Parameterization Technology in Modern Office Furniture Design
Abstract With the continuous development of computer technology, modern office furniture design has gradually turned to parametric, process-based, and customized development, but the difficulty lies in the continuous optimization and adjustment of parameters. Aiming at the difficult problems of parametric design, this paper selects and analyzes the modulus and structural characteristics of modern office furniture, summarizes the main calculation formulas, and establishes a parametric characteristic model of furniture, laying a theoretical foundation for practice.
Research on Downhole Plunger Position and Pressure Temperature Detection of Plunger Gas Lift System
Abstract Plunger gas lift utilizes the energy of gas production in the formation. By periodically switching on and off the gas well, the plunger moves up and down in the tubing to discharge the bottom hole fluid. The purpose is to reduce the back pressure on the production layer and increase the gas production of the formation. Power, prolong the production life of the gas well. The plunger gas lift detection is the core part of the plunger gas lift system. Adjusting the working status of the downhole plunger through the detection of downhole plunger position, temperature and pressure has important engineering value for improving the oil recovery efficiency of the gas lift process. In order to promote the development of downhole detection systems for gas lift wells in my country and overcome the difficulties of late start and lack of experience, this article focuses on the development status of the detection of plunger gas lift systems.the paper briefly introduce the composition of the plunger gas lift system, analyze the problems of the plunger arrival position detection and temperature and pressure detection in the gas lift detection system, and then analyze the current status of the plunger position monitoring of the plunger gas lift downhole. A review is made, followed by a review of the current status of domestic temperature and pressure monitoring systems for plunger gas lift wells. The review found that the detection of plunger position in my country is still at a relatively weak stage, and direct measurement cannot be achieved; however, there have been breakthroughs in the detection of temperature and pressure, especially in the fields of pressure and temperature detection, storage and wireless transmission. breakthrough. Analyzing changes in the U.S. wood furniture industry from 1997 to 2019: Production, net imports, and consumption
Wood-consuming furniture manufacturers (WCFM) are major users of forest products in the United States. Between 2000 and 2009, the real value of domestic WCFM shipments (production) declined by 51%. After 2009, WCFM shipments fluctuated, but by 2019 shipments were 48% below 2000 levels. A major contributor to this decline was furniture imports. In 1997, imports accounted for 6% and 23% of the value of upholstered household furniture (UHF) and wood household furniture (WHF), available to U.S. consumers, respectively. In 2019, imports accounted for 35% and 78% of domestically available UHF and WHF, respectively. The primary source of imported UHF in 2019 was China, while Vietnam was the most important source of WHF. Domestic consumption also influences WCFM shipments. Between 1997 and 2019, consumption of UHF by U.S. end-users increased; since 2002, this increase was primarily supplied through increased imports. Since 2005, domestic consumption of WHF declined by 45%, which contributed to the 75% decline in domestic shipments since that year. Wood office furniture and related products also have experienced a 40% decline in consumption since 2000, which coincided with a 41% decline in shipments. More research is needed to determine the impact of decreased WCFM shipments on U.S. forest product production and prices.
Study on Design of Female Office Chair Based on Ergonomics
In view of the fact that existing office chairs cannot fully meet the needs of office workers, especially the design of some adjustable parts, there is a lack of consideration for female size, body structure, and psychological needs. In this paper, through online and on-site research, combined with the results of the research, the existing office chairs are analyzed for related human-machine functions, and specific improvements for the chair surface, armrests, backrests, and footrests of female office chairs are proposed. Provide effective suggestions for improving the ergonomic design of female office chairs and determining design elements.
Conceptual model of soundscape perception based on working behaviour in open-plan offices
Abstract The open-plan office is one of the most popular and preferred workspace arrangement options for employers today. The results of research in western countries show that listeners’ perceptions of the soundscape in open-plan offices are negative, due to reduced visual and acoustic privacy and uncontrolled sound levels. This can cause a significant decrease in work comfort and productivity. Several researchers have provided acoustic design solutions by performing adequate speech control through several solutions such as creating spacing between workstations, the use of acoustic dampening materials, insulation between workstations, and application of a noise masking system. The phenomenon of adopting an open-plan office has also hit offices in big cities in the world, including in Indonesia. The purpose of this paper is to further examine listeners’ perceptions of the soundscape in the case of open-plan offices in the local environment because the results are indicated to be different from similar cases in western countries, given the peculiarities of employee work behaviour which are influenced by individual experiences and social effects in the local environment are also different. For this reason, a comprehensive literature review method is needed that aims to investigate the relationship between soundscape perceptions and working behaviour in open-plan offices in the local environment and then to create an integrated conceptual model so that further researchers can evaluate the research related to these problems.
The triggering effect of office design on employee creative performance: an exploratory investigation based on Duffy’s conceptualization
The physical work environment has a far-reaching effect on employee creativity. However, the research conceptualizing office design typically focuses on specific rather than broad dimensions. In this study, the effectiveness of design for autonomy and interactive office design is investigated, based on Duffy’s office design model. We take an interactive perspective and propose that office environment (design for autonomy and interactive office design) interacts with individual factors (intrinsic motivation and diversity ideology) to influence employees’ level of creativity. We first developed and validated items of office design and diversity ideology, and then tested our hypotheses in the main study. It was found that employees with strong intrinsic motivation and diversity ideology made the optimal use of office design for promoting the level of creativity. Finally, the theoretical and practical implications of these findings are discussed.
Comfort Evaluation and Application of Office Chair Based on FAHP
In order to establish an evaluation system of office chair comfort, this paper comprehensively and quantitatively analyzed the qualitative problem of comfort. Typical office chair samples were selected through cluster analysis and multi-dimensional scale analysis methods, and FAHP was used to establish the evaluation model from four aspects: physical scale, adjustability, support and synergy. Then, the model was used to evaluate the comfort of three office chair types. The results showed that it is feasible to apply FAHP to product evaluation of office chairs, and this evaluation model can provide a quantitative indicators system of seat products.
Green material characteristics applied to office desk furniture
The rational application of green materials is a necessary step for the development of environment-friendly industries and a circular economy. However, the popularity and practicality of the sustainable development of office furniture companies in China still lags far behind the world’s leading companies. To gain a deeper understanding of the application of green materials in the Chinese office furniture industry, a questionnaire survey for enterprises in response to relevant issues was conducted based on an extensive review of the relevant literature. The research comprehensively analyzed the application status of green materials in Chinese and overseas office furniture companies, and the environment-friendly materials selection strategy of the main materials, and packaging materials for office desk furniture was proposed according to the current situation. The results showed that China has vigorously begun guiding and supporting the green development of furniture manufacturing enterprises, but there is imperative need of a range of upgrades in the enacting or revising of laws and regulations pertaining to green manufacturing and manufacturing technology. Furniture enterprises should seize the opportunity to promote the application of clean energy and improve the recycling mechanism of waste furniture with an aim to maximize the benefits of sustainable development.
Refurbished products and supply chain incentives
The emergence of online retail platforms and new retail technologies have enabled retailers to sell refurbished products to different markets, which exposes manufacturers to new challenges to control refurbished product market. This study investigates the incentives of supply chain members for refurbished products in a dual-channel supply chain. We examine the conditions under which the retailer is willing to sell refurbished products and the impact of refurbished products on manufacturer’s profits in three different cases, i.e., local market selling, across market selling, and dual market selling. Our results reveal that the manufacturer can effectively control the selling of refurbished products by a wholesale price contract when the retailer can only deliver refurbished products to her local market. However, when the retailer has the ability to deliver refurbished products into a cross-border market, supply chain members encounter different incentives for refurbished products.
